Snowflake Challenge #8: Fanwork Recs!
Jan. 22nd, 2020 11:38 am
Rec at least three fanworks that you didn’t create. Leave a comment in this post saying you did it.
Welp!!!! I have a whole bunch of bookmarks on AO3, plus a tag just for fic recs! I know it skews things to whatever I read most recently though, so here are some prime fanfics that are a little bit older.

Challenge #1
In your own space, introduce yourself! Leave a comment in this post saying you did it. Include a link to your post if you feel comfortable doing so.
If you already have a sticky post or full bio, make sure they’re up to date so that people visiting your journal can learn something about you. Update your interests; make sure your fic posts are current; check that all your links work, etc. If you don’t already have a post introducing yourself, create one!
Hi hello I'm Choco! My pronouns are she/her and they/them and I'm a multifandom mess. I came to fandom relatively late; I'm in my 30s, and only started being active in fandom as of 2013. I was fandom-adjacent during high school, thanks to having friends in the Anime Club, but didn't really dive in until later. (Fun fact: I still remember when fic was rated as 'lemon' or 'lime,' but again. Mostly due to having friends who were Extremely Into fandom, even though that terminology was pretty much gone by the time I started. I also remember glomping and the yaoi paddles.)
I am mostly into video game fandoms (Dragon Age, Fallout, and Mass Effect are probably the most obvious examples from my fic tags!) but I also dabble in Harry Potter and She-Ra and the Princesses of Power. I will also write (or yell about!) other things I enjoy, like the books I've been reading or other games I've played.
And...this prompt is also a good reminder that I need to update my interests! :D *goes to do so*
