breath (and all the ways of holding) is the work I'm most proud of this year!!!! It's the longest thing I've written this year (which might be related to why I'm proud of it, not that length matters :P) and took the most time and revisions, but it's also got a strong emotional arc and contains some very fun kink scenes that also felt character-relevant and supported the emotional build-up and contains lots of introspective waffling about intimacy and communication.
...basically it's everything my jam and everything I've wanted in a Leliana/Morrigan fic, so I wrote it almost entirely as an exercise in self-indulgence but it also shows some of my best work and writing it (and rewriting it) helped me grow a lot as a writer, so I have an extremely soft spot for it.
